I'm glad I found Lakeside Marine

I had a non-op on my Ultrex, the prop wouldn't spin. Did all the basics and then contacted my local Minnkota service provider. They wouldn't repair it unless I left my boat. I couldn't find a new one to buy so I took it in. After four weeks (and a little irritation from me) they finally diagnosed it was the motor control board. They said they couldn't get one and I couldn't find them from Minnkota or Amazon. Lakeside had them, I two day shipped it and put it in myself, not realizing it came with directions, just took the old one out and put the new one in. All the connections are specific. You can't hook the wires wrong if you tried because they won't attach unless it is to the connection its supposed to go on. You just have to be careful how the wires are routed. Ultrex has been working reliably again last two times out. Thanks Lakeside!!
