Refund policy
To start a return please read and completely understand the return/refund policy and then click the link at the bottom of the policy.
Return/Refund Policy:
DO NOT THROW AWAY ANY PACKAGING/PAPERWORK DURING THE RETURN PERIOD.
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We offer a 30 day return period from the date your package is delivered. The return process is simple and straight forward. Claims of damaged products, incorrect/missing items, or non-receipt of goods must be made within seven (7) days of delivery.
All products in manufacturer packaging that are not service parts ship new in the package unless otherwise noted and are fully guaranteed and covered under warranty by the manufacturer. The manufacturer warranty will cover any repair or replacement of a product for the life of the warranty. We request that you reach out to the manufacturer first regarding any technical support or defective products. Some manufacturers do not allow defective products to be returned to the retailer and must go through the manufacturer's warranty policy for defective products.
Replacement service parts do not come in manufacturer packaging as they are sold bulk from the manufacturer.
Lakeside is not responsible for return shipping under any circumstances. (Similar to when you purchase a product at a brick and mortar store and it is the customer's responsibility to return it to the store for a refund/exchange)
Lakeside Marine & Service reserves the right to refuse the return of electronic parts.
Any item that has been opened, installed or used will be refused as a return. All returns must be in new, unused, unopened condition.
Take care not to cut or damaged manufacturer packaging when opening your shipment. All returned items are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee (20% minimum restocking fee for any Yamaha Parts)
YAMAHA OUTBOARD SALES ARE FINAL AND NON RETURNABLE as the motor is registered to the customer when we ship it out. Yamaha does provide a 3 year warranty on all motors.
All returns or exchanges missing or with damage to the original box may be refused or may be subject up to a 20% penalty fee on top of restocking fee if manufacturer will accept the return. Most manufacturers will not accept a return with damage to the manufacurer packaging (i.e. missing/damaged UPC barcodes, missing/damaged manuals, missing/damaged warranties, tape on the manufacturer’s box, etc.).
Ship all returns using a traceable shipping and insured for the full value of the item. Any return requests after the 30 day return window if accepted will be charged a minimum 25% restocking fee. If the product returned is not in new unopened and unused condition the restocking fee will be higher and or the return could be refused.
Lakeside Marine and Service is not liable in any way for returned packages that were lost or damaged during shipment. We highly recommend the return shipment be fully insured to protect against any lost or damaged claims.
All special orders unless otherwise noted (not regularly stocked items that were ordered by customer request) are non returnable. If otherwise noted and the item can be returned it will be subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee.

Refunds can take up to 10 business days for your bank process once initiated by Lakeside Marine and Service.
1. In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
2. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
3. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.
2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.
3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
5. Click Request return.
6. If your return is approved then you will receive an approval email with instructions on how to complete the return. If you return is denied you will get an email explaining why.
