This Minn Kota Lower Unit Assembly is a direct replacement for the following saltwater, 12-volt, 40 LB & 45 LB thrust trolling motor models with 5-speed forward/ 3-speed reverse:

• Riptide Transom Mount

The lower unit assembly comes completely assembled, ready to be installed. It is highly recommended to replace the shaft at the same time, as the threads are very rarely reusable.
