[****] Minn Kota Saltwater Armature Upgrade Kit 74 LB to 80 LB?

I am most impressed with the quality of the new armature, and the installation kit, as well as the quick delivery and competitive pricing.
I am however having difficulty fitting the prop end of the new armature into the new OEM bushing part number 409-000 furnished by Minn Kota factory parts.
I installed this bushing with a bushing driver designed for this purpose, and there appears to be no dings or distortion - it is just a few .000" oversize (too tight on the shaft). The shaft seals are already in place so an expandable reamer will not work. I will try a purpose designed ball hone and see what happens.
