Minn kota ST Replacement steering housing

I have tried to repair the original steering housing
With a new seal kit and new motor but the corrosion had caused to much damage for the bearings to reseat correctly so i decided to replace the whole assembly with the new steering housing as I didn’t want to risk blowing up another control board. Finally tested the electric motor on the weekend and it is working like new. Living in Australia lakeside marine have been absolutely amazing with shipping. Big thanks from Aaron

I wish my Minn Kota was as reliable as Lakeside Marine. I have used them three times over the past couple of years for parts for my motor and they have always had what I needed in stock and shipped out the parts the same day. They have also provided excellent over the phone assistance while I was trying to diagnose the problem. Special thanks to Clint who walked me through diagnostics on my steering housing.
